Thomas Moser Tea Table

This Thomas Moser Tea Table arrived at our shop in need of a good going over. Even the most treasured and pampered pieces fall victim to time and the elements. Fading from sunlight, exposure to liquids and a myriad of other factors eventually take there toll on furniture.

The owners wanted to see this treasured and valuable reproduction returned to its original vibrancy. We gladly accepted the challenge and set to work restoring the table. This piece was meticulously sanded down to bare wood. With its graceful legs and rounded surfaces, it required a skilled hand to sand it without flattening or disturbing its lines. Note the line detail in the pedestal, as well as the French curves of the legs. A sure hand, steady eye and most importantly experience were needed to render true justice to this piece. The result is here for all to see. We feel, as did the owners, that success was achieved.
